1. About This Application

The Alpha Nicholson Reporting Platform (www.alphareport.pro) is a private web application operated by Alpha Nicholson for the purpose of providing Google Ads performance reporting to agency clients. The platform connects to Google Ads accounts via the Google Ads API and displays campaign metrics, ad group performance, keyword data, and spend summaries in a branded dashboard.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using this application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

3. How We Use Your Data

All data collected by this application is used exclusively to provide the reporting service described above. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your login session on the platform.
  • Connect to the Google Ads API on your behalf using your OAuth tokens to retrieve campaign performance data.
  • Display live metrics, charts, and tables in your reporting dashboard.
  • Generate branded PDF reports containing your campaign data.
  • Associate Google Ads accounts with the correct client profile in the platform.
  • Parse and store uploaded CSV files for offline analysis.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the reporting service.

4. Google Ads API Data

This application uses the Google Ads API to retrieve advertising performance data. Our use of data obtained through the Google Ads API complies with the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Read-only access: We request only read access to your Google Ads data. This application does not create, modify, pause, or delete any campaigns, ad groups, keywords, budgets, or account settings.

Token storage: OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in an encrypted database. Tokens are used solely to retrieve performance data on your behalf and are never shared with third parties.

Token revocation: You can revoke this application's access to your Google Ads account at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing Alpha Nicholson Reporting Platform. Revoking access will disconnect your account from the platform and stop all API calls.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or Google Ads data to any third party. Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Infrastructure providers: We use cloud hosting and database services to operate the platform. These providers process data only as instructed by us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Within your agency: Admin users of this platform (Alpha Nicholson staff) can view performance data for all connected client accounts as part of managing the reporting service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active on the platform or as needed to provide the reporting service. Specifically:

  • OAuth tokens are retained until you disconnect your Google Ads account from the platform or revoke access via Google Account Permissions.
  • Campaign performance data retrieved from the Google Ads API is not permanently stored — it is fetched on demand when you view a dashboard or generate a report.
  • Generated PDF reports are created client-side and downloaded directly to your device. They are not stored on our servers.
  • Uploaded CSV files are stored until you delete them from the platform.
  • Account data (user profiles, client records) is retained until you request deletion.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, HTTPS for all data in transit, and secure session management. OAuth tokens are stored in an encrypted database and are never exposed in client-side code or logs.

Despite these measures, no internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You can request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You can request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Revocation: You can revoke Google Ads API access at any time via Google Account Permissions.
  • Portability: You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

This application uses a single session cookie (app_session_id) to maintain your login state. This cookie is strictly necessary for the platform to function and is not used for tracking or advertising purposes. It expires when your session ends or after 30 days of inactivity.

We do not use third-party analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any tracking technologies beyond the session cookie described above.

10. Children's Privacy

This application is intended for use by business professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
